Starting with 2006, besides BUCU European GNSS reference station (EUREF) which becomes IGS (International GNSS Service) station, Romania contributes to (European Reference Frame – European Permanent Network) by integratigs 4 more reference stations: BACA (Bacău), BAIA (Baia Mare), COST (Constanţa) and DEVA (Deva).
